Van Life: How to Make It Work (November Meeting)

  • 12 Nov 2019
  • 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM
  • Rock House Brewing, 119 Luigart Court, Lexington

#VanLife has been on the rise among outdoor adventurers for several years, in part thanks to Instagram and other social media outlets that make it look glamorous. But what is it really like, and is it feasible for your lifestyle? Whether you want to "live in a van down by the river" full time, or just have a cozier option for your weekend warrior getaways, come by and learn about how a few BWA members are making it work.

This month's meeting will have two speakers:

Michael Williams purchased his Promaster (pictured above) in June 2017 and did the full custom build-out. He lives in the van half-time in the DC area and drives it back and forth to Lexington twice a month, in addition to chasing whitewater across the east.

Kyle Koeberlein sells RVs and pre-built vans, and has traveled across the US in a Winnebago with his wife and their dog. As a new father, he's now navigating how to van life with a baby on board as he and his wife develop their photography business.

Do you already #VanLife? Bring your rig to the meeting and let folks check out your set up!

Non-members are always welcome! Club meetings are the best way to find out about upcoming events and to network with folks who can show you down the river. Come on out and bring a friend!
